Improving the safety and quality of Penja pepper

Penja pepper is a type of white pepper grown in the volcanic soil of the Penja Valley in Cameroon. Though widely known for its gastronomical properties, the export of penja pepper is facing a number of SPS-related challenges including non-compliance with pesticides maximum residue limits (MRLs) and misuse of pesticides. The purpose of this PPG is to elaborate a project proposal to improve the export potential of Penja pepper and increase the incomes of producers in Cameroon.
