Support to the control of SPS risks in the cashew and shea value chains
Cashew and shea represent an important part of agricultural production in Mali and reflect considerable trade opportunities for the country. However, capacity gaps remain in both value chains, among others in terms of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP), traceability, HACCP and standards compliance. The aim of this PPG is to develop a project proposal to address these challenges and strengthen SPS capacities along the value chains. The PPG foresees activities such as an inventory of national regulatory texts, data collection, and mapping of the production zones and principal SPS challenges.
