The purpose of this PPG was to prepare a feasibility study that identifies the challenges, opportunities and needs to use digital and IT tools to facilitate safe food trade in West Africa. These tools are intended to strengthen the delivery, performance and processes of the conformity assessment and accreditation systems in 9 countries. The analysis provided detailed information on each at the country as well as regional levels.
