The STDF, with the World Bank Group and the World Trade Organization (WTO), organized a virtual session called "Connecting to facilitate safe trade" as part of the 8th Aid for Trade Global Review. The joint session brought together policymakers, private sector representatives and trade experts to explore the intersection of trade facilitation and sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) controls, and how the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement can help traders overcome border delays through simplified, standardized and harmonized procedures and information flows.
