Batsukh Zayat

Batsukh Zayat is a leading veterinary scientist at the Institute of Veterinary Medicine, Mongolia. He holds a degree in Veterinary Medicine from Mongolian State University of Agriculture. He has been working in various fields of veterinary medicine, at both the practical and management level. He has served his country as Chief Veterinary Officer. He has rich experience in transboundary animal disease control and preparedness, intersectoral collaboration on emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, as well as modern interventions on food safety and public health.
