Guilherme Antônio da Costa Júnior

Mr Guilherme Antônio da Costa Júnior is the Agricultural Attaché in the in the Permanent Mission of Brazil to the WTO and other Economic Organizations in Geneva. He is a Veterinary Doctor graduated in the Rural Federal University of Pernambuco, Brazil and specialized in Food Quality Assurance at the KIFTC in Kanagawa, Japan. Having worked for 24 years in the area of food safety in Brazil and formally the Director of the Department of Sanitary and Phytosanitary Negotiations of the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Food Supply he also spent 15 years as a FAO and WHO consultant in projects related to SPS issues in different countries of the Americas and Africa.
