Maputa Agnes Kamulete

Maputa A. Kamulete is currently employed as Senior Veterinary Officer, Department of Veterinary Services at the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock in Lusaka , Zambia. Prior to this, she has worked as a Food Safety Officer at the Central Veterinary Research Institute in Zambia. She obtained her Bachelor in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Zambia in 2000. As a Canoncollins/Chevening Scholar, she later obtained a Master of Science degree in Management and Implementation of Development Projects from the University of Manchester, UK. She is the Food Safety and Codex Contact Point for the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock. She also serves as the Technical Secretary for EDES and as the head for the Focal Point of the Global Food Safety Partnership (GFSP) in Zambia.
