Martha Byanyima

Martha Byanyima is the Lead SPS Expert at the Common Market for East and Southern Africa (COMESA); a regional economic grouping of 19 African countries. She is a food technologist with a Master of Science (Msc) degree in food safety and quality management. She advises African Governments on harmonisation of SPS measures to facilitate intra regional trade and supports both the governments and the private sector to comply with SPS market requirements.
