A two-day workshop, organized in collaboration with the Inter-American Development Bank and hosted by the Government of Guatemala, took place in Ciudad de Guatemala on 11-12 June 2008. The focus of the event was on Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama. The overall aim was to clearly identify ways in which SPS priority needs could be addressed by donors, international organizations offering technical assistance in the SPS area or through the STDF itself.
